Connect ActiveCampaign
Connect ActiveCampaign once, and your funnels can create contacts, add leads to lists, and apply tags automatically.
What you'll need
Both values are in ActiveCampaign under Settings → Developer:
- API URL — your account's API address, like
https://youraccount.api-us1.com. - API Key — shown right next to the URL.
Add the integration
- In Outcome, go to Settings → Integrations and click Add an integration.
- Choose ActiveCampaign.
- Paste your API Url and API Key.
- Click Verify ActiveCampaign Connection and wait for it to show Verified!.
- Add a short description if you like, then click Add Integration.
Use it in a funnel
Attach the integration on the funnel's signup step (fires for every new lead) or inside a segment (fires only for leads matched to that segment, after they finish the form). Pick the integration, then choose an action:
- Create Contact — adds the lead to ActiveCampaign.
- Add To List — subscribes the lead to a list, picked from a live list of your account's lists.
- Add Tag — applies a tag from your account. Useful in segments: tag leads differently depending on which segment they matched, and let your ActiveCampaign automations respond.
Put Create Contact or Add To List on the signup step so every lead is captured, then use segment integrations for tagging.
Troubleshooting
Verification fails
Check the API URL matches the Developer page exactly, including the
https:// at the start, and that the key comes from the same account.
