The Rating block

The Rating block rates the lead on a small scale — out of 5 by default — and shows it as filled marks with a one-line AI-written verdict. It's the friendlier, lower-stakes cousin of the Score block.

What to use it for

  • A star rating for something the lead submitted — their headline, their offer, their morning routine.
  • A "how ready are you" verdict where 4/5 feels encouraging and 68/100 would feel clinical.
  • Quick-take quizzes where a simple 1-to-5 answer is the payoff.

Settings

  • Prompt / Instructions — what's being rated and what separates a 2 from a 5.
  • Out Of — the top of the scale: 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10. The AI returns a whole number between 0 and this.
  • Marks — Dots (filled and empty circles), Segments (a split bar, one segment per point), or Icons (repeats an icon you choose, like stars).
  • Icon — shown when Marks is set to Icons; filled marks use your brand color, the rest are faded.
  • Skill — attach saved Skills for reusable rating criteria.
  • Intake Data / Prev. Steps — which answers and earlier outputs it judges from.
  • Loading Phrases — what the generating screen shows while it runs.

Good to know

  • Whole numbers only — there are no half-stars. If you need finer resolution, use the Score block's 0–100 scale.
