Skills: reusable AI instructions
A skill is a saved set of instructions any AI block can reuse — your coaching framework, your brand voice, your quoting process. Instead of rewriting the same instructions in every funnel, you save them once as a skill and attach it wherever it's needed. The AI then follows your method and sounds like you, in every funnel that uses it.
Create a skill
Go to Context → Skills and click Create a skill. There are three ways in:
- Create with AI — describe the skill you want in plain language, or switch to From a link and paste a web page or YouTube video to build the skill from (pages are read as source material; YouTube videos are transcribed). Pick a skill type — General, Tone of voice, Framework, Process, or Content — so the AI knows what shape to write. The skill generates in the background; you'll see it appear in the list when it's ready.
- Manual — write the name and instructions yourself.
- Search — search a library of existing skills and import one to make it yours.
However you start, open the skill any time to edit its name and instructions. Skills get sharper as you refine them.
Attach a skill to an AI block
In the funnel builder, open an AI block's settings, find Skill, and switch it to Use Skills, then pick the skill (or skills) to apply. The skill's instructions are added to that block's prompt, on top of anything you wrote for the block itself.
Good to know
- Skills are workspace-wide — every funnel can use every skill.
- Keep each skill focused on one job. A voice skill and a framework skill work better as two skills than one.
- Deleting a skill doesn't break anything: AI blocks using it fall back to their own instructions.
