The Scrape URL block (Premium)

The Scrape URL block reads a web page at generation time — usually one the lead typed into your form, like their homepage. The page's content is added to the report's context, so later steps can critique their copy, audit their site, or reference what they actually do.

It's a Premium AI Block, so each run consumes credits.

What to use it for

  • A website or landing-page audit funnel: the lead enters their URL, the report reviews their real page.
  • Personalized outreach or positioning advice based on what their site says.
  • Pulling a lead's brand (logo, colors) into a design-flavored report.

Setup: one URL field

The block needs exactly one intake field that contains a URL. Set Intake Data to Selected Fields and choose the form question where the lead enters their link. If the value isn't a valid URL, the step is skipped and the rest of the report still generates.

Settings

  • ModeGet Page extracts the page itself; Crawl Site also crawls additional subpages from the same site (choose 5 or 10 pages); Find Similar returns summaries of similar websites (5 or 10 results).
  • Return Type (Get Page mode) — Content for the page text and summary, Brand for logos, colors, description, and social links, or Styleguide for the full design system.

Good to know

Like Research, this block has no visible output — follow it with an AI block that uses what it read.
